Alternatively, we also offer an annual license to install SoSci Survey on your own web server.

Cloud Usage Licenses for Professional Use

The Cloud prepaid packages include the provision of the SoSci Survey software as a Cloud Service for creating and providing online questionnaires.

Which package(s) you need depends on your survey administration period. Depending on the category of the package (small/medium/large), you can survey different numbers of participants during this period. Long-term licenses are particularly suitable for long-running surveys with a relatively small number of respondents.  If multiple survey projects run on one license, the total number of participants in all survey projects will be counted.

No hidden costs: You order one or more packages in the online shop, you receive one invoice with payment terms and can start programming the questionnaire immediately. No automatic renewal, no subscription.

• The questionnaire can be created immediately after purchasing a prepaid package. Importantly, the respondent can only fill out the questionnaire within the survey period covered by a license.
• You can carry out multiple surveys in parallel and/or in succession during the survey period as long as they do not in conjunction exceed the maximum number of participants.
• Multiple Cloud usage licenses can be combined to conduct more interviews and/or to collect data over a longer period of time. For a survey of max. 1000 persons over a period of 2 months, for example, order two packages Small (1 month). Or buy a Medium (Long Term) package if you plan to conduct another small survey in the following 10 months.
• Use of the s2survey.net Pro Server is already included in the cloud usage packages. The Pro server offers a higher performance than the www.soscisurvey.de standard server. When creating a survey project, please select the Pro Server in order to access descriptive evaluations of the data collected online (Online Data Analysis).

Offer for Educational Institutions

Educational institutions receive a campus cloud license for up to 30,000 respondents on the Pro server s2survey.net, which can be jointly used by all members of the university.

• Direct campus login, no individual registration of university members required.
• Automatic assignment of a pre-agreed data processing agreement (DPA), no violations of Art. 28 GDPR due to ignorance.
• The license also allows for commercial studies and collaborations with companies (for example, as part of final projects).
• Individuals who leave the university automatically lose access to the campus license and their user accounts are deleted in a timely manner. Survey projects can be transferred to other user accounts (within or outside the institution) if necessary.
• The volume of 30,000 respondents is usually sufficient for social science courses at a medium-sized university. The survey volume per user can be limited. If necessary, additional cloud packages can be booked for more respondents or additional functionalities (e.g., implicit attitude measurements).
