infoElement()

This function returns meta information about a question in the list of questions.

array infoElement(string ID)

• ID – The four-character ID of a question or a text, consisting of section and number

The function either returns NULL, if there is no question or text with the given ID in the survey project, or an array with the following keys:

• 'label' – The ID of the question
• 'class' – The category of the element
  • 'content' – Content, e.g., a text
  • 'selection' – Selection question (single or multiple choice)
  • 'rating' – Question in rating format
  • 'freetext' – Question with open-ended text input
  • 'implicit' – Implicit attitude measurement
  • 'add-on' – Question from the field of extended data collection methods
  • 'communication' – Functions for communication
  • 'special' – Special question format
  • 'functional' – Functional element
• 'type' – Exact type of the element
• 'desc' – Description of the question
• 'title' – Question text (in the active language version, if applicable)
• 'explanation' – Explanation (in the active language version, if applicable)
