Project Information
WaterProof (urban WAste and water Treatment Emission Reduction by utilizing CO2 for the PROduction Of Formate derived chemicals) Project proposes a resource efficient solution converting carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from wastewater processing into green consumer products, such as cleaning products. This project enables the closing of the wastewater carbon loop and the shift from fossil to renewable carbon sources. It hereby supports the transition towards a climate-neutral Europe and an effective and truly circular economy.
The study
This study aims to explore public perceptions about cleaning products from wastewater-converted CO2 and understand the factors influencing these perceptions. This survey assesses consumers’ willingness to buy or use such cleaning products. It takes about 8 minutes to complete the survey. The results of this survey will contribute to identifying potential barriers and acceptance levels of wastewater-based cleaning products.
