Welcome!

We, the "music cognition" project team, look forward to your participation in this online study on pitch perception! The study is based at the Institute for Music Informatics and Musicology (IMWI) of the University of Music Karlsruhe, Germany, with Prof. Dr. Marc Bangert being the principal investigator.

Every non-musician, amateur musician and professional musician who is older than 18 years and has no hearing impairment is allowed to participate in this study. No knowledge of music theory is required.

Due to technical limitations, the use of smartphones or tablets is not supported. Please use your laptop or desktop computer.

Please make yourself comfortable in a quiet environment and consider using headphones.

Duration: approx. 30-60 minutes.
