Thank you very much for your interest in our survey on personality and career success – a project in cooperation with various universities, including the International School of Management, the LMU Center for Leadership and People Management and the Private University Schloss Seeburg.
PURPOSE AND PROCEDURE OF THE SURVEY
The aim of this survey is to investigate the relationship between personality and career success in academia. We will ask you to fill out questions about yourself and your career success in academia. The survey takes about 4-5 minutes. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers.
This survey is aimed exclusively at people who are working in the scientific sector. This includes researchers and lecturers at universities, universities of applied sciences and scientific institutes.
VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
Your participation in this survey is voluntary. You may revoke your consent to participate at any time at a later time during the survey without giving any reason. You also may cancel the survey at any time and without giving any reason. If necessary, you can contact the person in charge of the survey (see the list of survey leaders with contact information at the end of this information). Withdrawal of your consent will not cause you any disadvantages.
COSTS AND BENEFITS
You do not incur any costs by participating in this survey. In general, the survey should not entail any risks or inconveniences. By participating in the survey, you are making a valuable contribution to research.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND ANONYMITY OF DATA
The data cannot be assigned to you personally at any time, is completely anonymous and will be handled strictly confidential. Your data will be used exclusively for research purposes within the scope of the aforementioned research project. We process the data on the basis of your consent for the purpose of the aforementioned research project (collection, evaluation, production of results, publications). The legal basis for this is in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), namely in particular Art. 6 (1) lit a (consent) and Art. 9 (2) lit j (research purpose in the public interest).
