Summer Symposium on Science Education - Revival
We want to relauch the former Bremen/Dortmund Symposium on Science Education Research!
The 27th Symposium on Chemistry and Science Education will continue a long tradition begun in 1981 with the first symposium on chemical education organized by Hans-Jürgen Schmidt. After many years of the symposium taking place in Bremen or Dortmund, we revived the event in an online format in 2024 and are happy to announce that we are returning with a face-to-face conference! The topic will be “Global Perspectives on Sustainability and Social Justice in Chemistry Education”
The symposium will take place at the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich (Germany) between May 28th and May 30st, 2026.
Besides oral presentations by invited speakers, we would like to offer you short bits, posters, networking and much more. Feel free to contribute with a poster!
The symposium is open for researchers, teachers, policy makers and everyone else. It is free of charge.
Organized by: Silvija Markic (LMU) and Nadja Belova (UniHB)
