Dear participants,
as part of my bachelor’s thesis in Information Management (extra occupational) at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, I am investigating what information is important to users of special collections reading rooms and what equipment they value. The aim is to improve the provision of information and equipment to better meet actual needs.
A special collections reading room is a specialized room where particularly sensitive collections, such as manuscripts, old prints, personal papers, or rare books, can be viewed. Such rooms are sometimes referred to by other names, such as manuscript reading room, research reading room, or rare book reading room.
Participation takes about 10 minutes. You are welcome to skip the open-ended questions, but your additional answers will enable me to make a more substantiated assessment of the priority of certain information and facilities. I appreciate every completed free-text question.
Your participation is voluntary and can be canceled at any time. Your information is anonymous and will be evaluated exclusively within the scope of my academic work. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual persons.

Thank you for your support!
