Voluntary Participation:
Your participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without giving a reason by simply closing the browser window.
Remuneration:
If you study psychology as a major or minor at Leuphana University Lüneburg, you receive 0.25 SONA points.
Procedure:
The online study takes approximately 10 minutes and consists of three parts:
1. Completing a series of questionnaires (including demographic questions)
2. Reading a researcher’s profile and two study summaries
3. Debriefing (detailed information about the purpose of the study)
Data Protection:
All data is collected anonymously and used for research purposes only.
Eligibility:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Basic familiarity with digital devices (laptop, smartphone)
- Fluent in English
- Psychology major or minor
As planning and carrying out a study is time-consuming, it is important that you complete the tasks as thoroughly as possible. Please answer questions openly and honestly and take the experiment seriously. If you have already participated in this study, please refrain from participating again and close your browser.
If you are currently taking part in this study on your smartphone, it might be preferable to use the device in landscape mode so that everything is easier to see.
