I am delighted that you have decided to take part in my survey.

After being named Game of the Year 2023 at the Game Awards, it's safe to say that Baldur's Gate 3 has generated a lot of attention over the past year, and it's particularly admirable that the reviews from players have been almost entirely positive. Particular praise has been given to the story and the voice acting of the companions that can accompany you throughout the game. Players – like me – seem to really enjoy interacting with the characters, which makes it a particularly exciting game to research!

I am conducting this online survey as part of my bachelor's thesis. On the following pages, I would like to ask you a few questions about the video game "Baldur's Gate 3" and your favorite companion. By taking part, you are supporting a scientific research project as part of a student survey project at the Technical University of Dresden.
