We would like to thank you for your interest in this research project. Before you decide to participate, it is important that you familiarise yourself with the details of this research. Please take the time to read through the following information carefully:
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH?
The purpose of this study is to examine how certain subtle, yet overlooked, leadership behaviours can influence employees’ interpersonal experiences and impact their wellbeing and motivation. Your input will help researchers understand small, everyday managerial actions and their contributions to a healthier and more engaging workplace. There are no right or wrong answers, and your responses will directly inform future leadership practices where small actions can make a big difference.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ME WHEN I TAKE PART?
After signing up for our study using your email, you will receive a link to complete a pre-survey. Once this is completed, next Monday you will receive two brief surveys (≈10mins per survey) each day for 10 consecutive workdays (Mon-Fri) at 4- and 8-hours after your indicated start of work. In total, a maximum of ≈200 minutes of your time may be required for the 10 workdays. You will receive a reminder for each survey if you have not completed it within one hour, and it will be deactivated after two hours.
Note: To prevent the surveys from potentially entering junkmail, please ensure to add these email addresses to your Safe Sender List:

DO I HAVE TO TAKE PART?
Participation is entirely voluntary and it is up to you to decide whether to take part. Should you choose to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time during the study without giving a reason. You can do this by clicking on the link at the bottom of our SoSci Survey email to stop receiving further surveys.
HOW WILL I BE COMPENSATED FOR TAKING PART?
To thank you for your time, you can receive a free, optional leadership workshop based on the principles of this research. You will be eligible for this workshop if you complete at least 7 out of 10 survey days, as this will ensure sufficient data to test for the core ideas of the research project. Once you have completed at least 7 out of 10 survey days, you will receive an invitation to accept or decline participation in the leadership workshop. The workshop is entirely voluntary, and your survey responses will remain anonymous and confidential.
