My name is Daria Barbaro, and this survey is part of my bachelor’s thesis in General Linguistics. It investigates how the language used in mental health related Instagram posts makes readers feel about themselves, and how certain word choices influence those feelings.

The survey takes about 5-10 minutes to complete. You will read short messages and answer questions about how they make you feel and what impressions they give. There are no right or wrong answers, I am simply interested in your personal perspective.

There will be questions that you should answer in your own words. Please answer in English only.
