3. Purpose of data collection: The data collected will be used exclusively within the scope of this academic thesis. No commercial use or disclosure to third parties will take place.

4. Voluntary participation and anonymity: Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. You will face no disadvantages if you choose not to participate or if you withdraw from the survey at any time without giving a reason. No registration is required. Neither names nor contact details are collected. The survey is conducted anonymously, so no conclusions about your identity can be drawn.

5. Data collected: The following data will be collected as part of this survey: your responses to the questions, sociodemographic information (e.g., year of birth, gender identity) for scientific analysis, and technical metadata (e.g., timestamps) automatically recorded by the survey tool. Personal data such as email addresses or IP addresses will not be collected. Your responses will, of course, be treated confidentially.

6. Legal basis: The processing of your data is based on your voluntary consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time by discontinuing the survey. Data already submitted cannot be deleted afterwards due to the anonymous nature of the survey.

7. Storage, retention and access: The data are stored on the servers of SoSci Survey, which processes the data exclusively within Germany and ensures that processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Access to the collected data is restricted exclusively to me as the researcher responsible for this master’s thesis. Upon completion and submission of the thesis, all collected data will be deleted.

8. Your rights: Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, including a free copy of it, and to request rectification, erasure, or restriction of its processing. As the survey is conducted anonymously, subsequent identification of individual data records is not possible once submitted, so that these rights, including the right to data portability, can no longer be exercised in relation to a specific dataset after the data have been submitted.
