When the power went out – how did you find out what was happening?

Dear participants,
Do you remember the last major power cut in your neighbourhood? No lights, no mobile signal, and the question: What on earth is going on?

This is precisely what we are looking into as part of the Crisis Communication and Governance Berlin (KRIKO-BE) research project. We are investigating how those affected in the districts of Steglitz-Zehlendorf and Treptow-Köpenick were kept informed and sought information during the major blackouts, and what worked and what didn’t. Your participation makes an important contribution to improving crisis communication in Berlin in the future.

The survey takes 10–15 minutes. Your responses are voluntary, anonymous and will be used exclusively for academic purposes.
