Welcome to the survey

As part of my bachelor’s thesis, I am investigating how consumers perceive companies’ sustainability claims.

This survey is open to individuals aged 18 and older who regularly purchase personal care, household, or food products. Your participation will make a valuable contribution to a better understanding of transparency and credibility in sustainability communication.

Participation is anonymous and voluntary. No personal data will be collected, and no conclusions can be drawn about individual respondents. The data collected will be used exclusively for academic purposes as part of this bachelor’s thesis.

Please answer the questions honestly and spontaneously. There are no right or wrong answers—only your personal opinion.

The survey takes about 5–7 minutes to complete. By participating in the survey, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.

Thank you very much for your support!

How often do you buy personal care, household, or food products at brick-and-mortar stores (e.g., supermarkets, drugstores)?

A notice:

In this survey, the terms “sustainability claims” or “sustainability information” refer to any communication that relates to the environmental or social characteristics of a product. This includes, for example, sustainability labels, descriptive terms such as “climate-neutral” or “environmentally friendly,” as well as corresponding information on packaging or at the point of sale.

When shopping in a store, do you look for sustainability information on the packaging or on the shelf (e.g., environmental or social aspects)?
