====== Import Sending Times ======

SoSci Survey allows you to import individual sending times for [[:en:survey:mailing|mailings]] from a table. So you can specify in a table exactly which person or which subgroup shall receive which mailing at which point in time.

Save such a table in Excel (XLSX) or CSV format and import the schedule under **Invitation Mailings** -> **Mailings** -> //Import individual dispatch times//.


===== Table =====

The table must contain the following columns:

  * Sending time -- different formats are possible here, but a complete specification of date and time is recommended:
    * ''01.01.2021 16:35:00''
    * ''2021-01-01 16:35:00''
  * Mailing (ID) -- the number of the mailing to be sent

If no further information is given, the mailing is sent to all address entries. At least one of the following additional columns is required for individual control:

  * Subgroup
  * Person ID (SERIAL)
  * Email address
  * Mobile phone number
  * Unique address ID

**Important:** If a row contains several criteria, only those address entries are used that meet all criteria.

==== Optional Information ====

For follow-up mails, you can optionally specify for which participation status the mail is sent. The same values are permitted as for the ''%%'status'%%'' setting of the function ''[[:en:create:functions:mailschedule]]''.

Optionally, you can specify how long the link in the mailing is valid. The same formats are possible as for the ''%%'expire'%%'' setting of the function ''[[:en:create:functions:mailschedule]]''.

A corresponding table could look as follows:

In this case, the follow-up mail no. 2 would only be sent if the link in the original invitation was not clicked (''no-response'').


==== Managing the Sending Times ====


  * If several tables are imported, the sending times already present are supplemented, but ...
  * If a sending time is already scheduled for an address entry and a mailing, the existing dispatch is canceled and the new point in time is scheduled instead.
