The polarity profile shows one or more rating scales that are labeled on the left and on the right.
A variant of the polarity profile is the two-sided slider. Here, the rating scale with discrete options is replaced by a slider with an (optionally) continuous response scale.
Note: If you would like to display additional texts (for example, statements) for the individual rating scales (items), you can create multiple polarity profiles and place the text in the question text or in the instructions. Or perhaps the “subheading”, which can be enabled for an individual item, meets your requirements.
On small displays, the labels of the extremes move to the row above the options, so that the options still have enough space.
By default, a visual anchorage is hidden on small displays. You can change this behavior with the following PHP/CSS code on the questionnaire page. Replace the ID PP01 with the ID of your question (twice).
pageCSS(' #PP01_head div.s2layoutMatrix { display: block !important; } #PP01_head div.s2item > div.s2input.s2scale { flex-direction: row !important; } ');
