Study on Friendships

Dear Participant,

Thank you for your interest in my study!

As part of my Bachelor's thesis in Psychology, I am investigating various aspects of friendships.

Participation involves completing an online questionnaire, which takes approximately 10 minutes.

Flightgift Voucher Giveaway

You and your friend each have a chance to win one of two €100 Flightgift vouchers if you both complete the questionnaire by October 30, 2026!

Flightgift vouchers can be used to book flights with over 400 airlines worldwide.

To be eligible for the giveaway, both you and your friend must complete the questionnaire fully, carefully, and honestly. There are no right or wrong answers.

To enter the giveaway, you can provide your email address at the end of the questionnaire. Participation in the giveaway is voluntary. Email addresses are collected separately and cannot be linked to your questionnaire responses. The winners will be notified by email on November 10, 2026.

Important: Participation in Pairs

This study examines friendship pairs. For your responses to be included in the analysis, it is essential that both you and a friend complete the questionnaire in full.

  1. Complete the questionnaire: First, complete the questionnaire yourself.
  2. Share your personal link: After completing the questionnaire, you will receive a personal link for your friend. Please make sure to forward this link so that your friend can participate as well.
  3. Use the separate link: Your friend must use the personal link provided and must not access the questionnaire through your original participation link.

Your friend will not have access to your responses. Responses will not be shared between participants.

Please note: Both participants must complete the questionnaire independently. Please do not discuss your answers with each other.

Participation and Data Protection Information

  • Individuals aged 18 years or older are eligible to participate.
  • Participation is voluntary and anonymous.
  • All data collected will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for scientific research purposes. No individual assessments will be made; only statistical relationships will be analysed.
  • Your friend will not have access to your responses. Responses will not be shared between participants.
