This study is conducted as part of a master's thesis in the field of Applied Linguistics. My name is Hannah Grzonka, and I'm a student at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany. As part of my final thesis, I am conducting a cross-cultural comparison of how native and non-native speakers of English communicate in short interactions. 

Participants: 
English speakers from Ireland, England, the United States of America and Germany

Structure
This questionnaire is made up of three parts: 1) About you, 2) the main task, and 3) concluding questions. It should not take longer than 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire. The questions have to be answered in English

Privacy:
All the data collected from this questionnaire is anonymous and treated confidentially. The results of this study will be used for scholarly purposes only and cannot be traced back to you as a person. Your participation in the study is voluntary. You may choose not to participate. You may withdraw at any time.
