Thank you for taking part in our survey. 

With this survey, we would like to better understand the experiences, needs, wishes and challenges that matter to Bi+ people. The survey partly follows up on an earlier online survey conducted by BiBerlin e.V. in 2021. This allows us to better understand developments within the Bi+ community and to make current needs more visible. The results will help us develop existing services and offers, identify new needs and better represent the interests of Bi+ people in politics, society and community contexts. 

The survey is open to people of all genders. Depending on your gender identity and individual experiences, different questions will be shown to you throughout the survey. One section focuses on Bi+ men* and Bi+ people who locate themselves within a masculine spectrum. We use the term men* because we do not only want to include the perspectives and experiences of cis men, but also those of inter* and trans* men as well as trans* and/or non-binary masculine people. This part of the survey is made possible through funding by Folsom Europe e.V.

INFORMATION ON DATA PROTECTION AND DECLARATION OF CONSENT

Duration of the survey
Participation takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The survey can be completed until 30 September 2026.

Participation requirement
To take part in the survey, you must be at least 18 years old.

Data protection and anonymity
Participation in this survey is anonymous. This means that we cannot assign the information provided to any specific person. No names, email addresses or other personal data are collected. The survey is conducted using the software SoSci Survey. The data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored on servers in Germany. IP addresses are not stored.

The development, implementation and analysis of the results for participants of all other genders is based on volunteer work.

Purpose of data collection
The collected data will be used to better understand the lived realities, needs, experiences and wishes of Bi+ people. The results will help us develop existing services and offers, identify new needs and better represent the interests of Bi+ people in politics, society and community contexts.

Analysis and publication
The data will be analysed by BiBerlin e.V. Results will only be published in anonymised and summarised form. It will not be possible to draw conclusions about individual people. All information about the publication will be available on the website of BiBerlin e.V.

Storage of data
Since the survey is anonymous and no personal data is collected, the data may be stored permanently in anonymised form and used for later comparisons as well as scientific or professional analysis.

Voluntary participation
Participation in the survey is voluntary. You can stop taking part at any time without any disadvantages for you.
