This study investigates personality characteristics and social attitudes in relation to political engagement. There are no right or wrong answers — please answer all questions honestly and to the best of your ability.
The study will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Voluntary Participation and Anonymity
Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without giving a reason and without any negative consequences. All data collected will be treated with strict confidentiality and published exclusively in anonymized form. Your responses cannot be traced back to you personally.
Data Collection and Processing
If you access this survey via the SONA platform, data collection is pseudonymized. Your SONA ID is used solely to credit your compensation and is accessible only to the supervising instructors. You may request deletion of your data at any time by providing your SONA ID. Without this information, your data remains fully anonymous and cannot be deleted. The data collected will be used exclusively for the purposes of a bachelor thesis at the Department of Psychology, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
Compensation
Participation is not financially compensated. Psychology students at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main will receive 15 "subject minutes" (Versuchspersonenminuten, VPM) for their participation.
Benefits and Risks
Participation offers the opportunity to gain insight into psychological research processes. Since the study is conducted in an established online format, there are no known risks. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, you may withdraw from the study at any time without consequence.
