Dear participants,
As part of my Master's thesis at Technische Universität Ilmenau, I am conducting a scientific online survey on the perception of online news articles. The aim of the study is to examine how news articles are evaluated, understood, and assessed by readers.
- Participation takes approximately 8 minutes.
- Participation is voluntary and can be discontinued at any time without giving reasons.
- You will not experience any disadvantages if you decide to discontinue the survey.
The questionnaire collects assessments of news articles, including evaluations of content quality, trust, and potential use of news services, as well as some general information. This includes, for example, age, gender, education level, and media consumption habits.
- The survey is anonymous. No names, student ID numbers, email addresses, or other directly identifying contact details are collected.
- The collected data will be analysed exclusively in anonymised form and presented in aggregated form as part of the Master's thesis.
- Individual persons cannot be identified from the results.
- The author of the Master's thesis has access to the anonymised data.
- As part of the assessment process, it may be necessary to provide the anonymised raw data to the supervising person.
