'Unlocking international growth in live communication'

The results of the European Industry Survey 2025 learn that internationalisation emerges as a key growth driver in live communication.

The data show that in the seven participating European countries, 57% of the companies are already internationally active. Out of that group 61% operate (also) beyond Europe. Revenue growth, access to new clients, and risk diversification are the primary motivations for going international.

While the ambition for international growth is widespread among the respondents (n=136), much of its potential remains untapped. Across the European live communication sector, event professionals are eager to expand - but face gaps in knowledge, infrastructure, and support.

In order to fill these gaps a follow-up study is needed, not only to map the required support needs but also the differences between the countries and different types of event professionals. Which countries and which professionals are ahead of the curve with respect to internationalisation and what helped them to take these steps? That way, best practices can be outlined for starters or doubters.
