You are being invited to participate in a research study. This study is conducted by Dr. Jacob Livingston Slosser from the University of Copenhagen Law Faculty. You were selected to participate in this study because of your legal education.

The purpose of this research study is to understand legal reasoning and new technology. If you agree to take part in this study, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire. This questionnaire will take you approximately 10 minutes to complete.

You may not directly benefit from this research; your participation is not necessary to enter the prize drawing of (1) €100 Amazon Gift Card (or equivalent local currency). This will be announced at the end of the study in January, 2021. We hope that your participation in the study may help understand the legal reasoning behind decisions involving new technology.

The data will be completely anonymized and will be used in the form of scientific papers and a monograph. The data will be presented in the form of generalized quantitative results and selections of qualitative responses. No names of participants will ever be used for this purpose.

We believe there are no known risks associated with this research study; however, as with any online related activity the risk of a breach of confidentiality is always possible. To the best of our ability your answers in this study will remain confidential.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. You are free to skip any question that you choose. Given the anonymity of the data it is not possible to remove your answers from the data-set after they have been submitted.
