'Unlocking international growth in live communication'

Welcome to the fourth LiveCom Survey! In 2019 LiveCom Alliance in cooperation with the R.I.F.E.L. Institute conducted the first pan-European LiveCom Survey to grasp a detailed understanding of the structure, characteristics and future trends of this industry. Since then, two further follow-up studies have been carried out to map the longitudinal development of the industry, provided forecasts based on this and were consequently received with great interest across our industry.

This year‘s study builds on this, but adds important new aspects. The previous three studies primarily focused on quantitative metrics such as revenues, employee numbers, and budgets. In 2025, the study now shifts focus towards surveying topics of strategic nature that currently move companies in our industry. While we will not abandon the examination of quantitative trends, we will prioritize a qualitative and content-oriented view of significant strategic topics. In this year ‘internationalization’ is the focus of the survey. Why?

Because in today's rapidly evolving global market, internationalization can be a path for growth for single companies and the whole sector. Internationalization offers numerous attractive benefits, including access to new markets, diversified revenue streams and the ability to leverage global talent. However, internationalization also presents various challenges and hurdles, such as complex regulatory environments, cultural differences, and logistical issues to name a few. Hence, this study seeks to create a snapshot on internationalization in the sector and explore companies‘ perspectives towards the potential opportunities, but also potential barriers associated with internationalization. The study furthermore dives into the best practices of international operations, thereby aiming to provide valuable insights and practical recommendations for industry stakeholders. If you are not operating internationally and/or aiming to expand internationally, it's still valuable and insightful to participate and learn from this study.

We thank you in advance for your valuable time and support in this important research. Your contributions will help the sector to better understand the live communications industry on its path to internationalization.

Best regards
