Visual impact of the planned wind farm Wullersdorf (Lower Austria) on the landscape

Ladies and gentlemen, dear interested parties

In the context of our internationally oriented research on the perception of the landscape, we ask for your cooperation. The following online survey contains, among other things, numerous photos in the context of the planned wind farm Wullersdorf (Lower Austria) in random order, covering a variety of different landscape types. With our research we want to find out whether wind turbines in certain landscape types have a stronger (or weaker) impact on the landscape and whether the different preferences can be attributed to different socio-demographic groups (different gender, age, education, ethnicity, etc.).

In order to achieve these research goals, we ask you about specific impression qualities for each photo, such as to what extent you would describe the respective landscape as beautiful or natural. We also ask you to answer questions that enable us to assign you to specific socio-demographic groups. Otherwise the survey is anonymous and the data collected cannot be linked to your person.

The survey will initially show you 10 photos, which will take about 10 minutes. We would be pleased if you would rate more photos if you are interested. If you wish, you can interrupt the questionnaire and continue later. You will find this function at the bottom left on all pages of the questionnaire. Also here you remain anonymous and the collected data does not allow any conclusions.

Among the participants we draw 3 vouchers from an online mail order company with a value of 20 Euro. If you would like to take part in the raffle, please enter an e-mail address at the end of the questionnaire. This will be stored separately and is not linked to your answers in the questionnaire.

Many thanks in advance!
