Energy renovation in co-owned buildings

Perspective of landlord owners


Study objective

Understanding the factors that influence landlord owners' decisions to support or not an energy renovation project for their building.


You can participate if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • Landlord owner in a co-owned building in Belgium
  • You personally take part in decision-making during general assembly *
* In the case of proxy voting, you personally determine the direction of your vote and provide clear instructions to the appointed representative.

Practical information

  • Duration: approximately 12 minutes
  • Procedure: Questions about the factors influencing your decision regarding an energy renovation.
  • Participation: Your participation is voluntary, you may stop answering at any time.


Data protection
The survey is anonymous. The researchers will not have access to your identity and will not attempt to identify you based on your responses to the questionnaire.

The results will always be presented in aggregated form. The anonymous data resulting from your participation in this research may be shared if used in the context of other research related to this study, and may be compiled and made available in open access on specialized platforms (OSF), accessible to the scientific community. The data we share will not be identifiable, so that no one will be able to determine which data are yours.
