Musculoskeletal disorders and patient handling among nursing staff in Europe

This anonymous survey examines the relationship between musculoskeletal disorders and patient-handling activities among nurses and auxiliary nurses across Europe. Completion takes approximately 15 minutes.

Your responses will contribute to a European-wide evidence base used to inform workplace-safety policy and guidance for healthcare employers.

What you will be asked

Your demographic details, your working environment, any musculoskeletal symptoms you have experienced, the patient-handling equipment available to you, and your perceptions of workplace practices.

Data protection

No personal identifiers are collected. Responses remain strictly confidential and are used only for research purposes in aggregated form. The survey is conducted in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The data controller is the European Biosafety Network.
