DSA40 Data Access Tracker

As we observe an increase in reports of rejected or delayed access requests within our community, this initiative seeks to collect these experiences. The DSA40 Data Access Tracker aims to gather empirical evidence regarding platforms' compliance or non-compliance with the DSA regulations. It is meant to inform the scientific community about the developments regarding the platform data access of researchers under Article 40 of the Digital Services Act.

We highly value your input and kindly ask you to share your experiences with access requests, whether they were granted, rejected, or are still pending. Furthermore, we encourage you to share this form with your colleagues who have made or are planning to make similar access requests.

The DSA40 Data Access Tracker is an initiative by the #DSA40 Data Access Collaboratory, a joint project of the European New School in Frankfurt/Oder and the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin.
It is meant to inform the scientific community about the developments regarding the platform data access of researchers under Article 40 of the DSA.

Your contributions are essential for a comprehensive understanding of the data access process under the DSA.
We thank you in advance for your support and participation.

Ulrike Klinger, Jakob Ohme, and Lukas Seiling
