Dear Participant,

we, the Institute for Automotive Engineering at RWTH Aachen University ("ika"), are pleased that you wish to support us as a participant in the study on the topic of "Skills in Road Transport Research" . This research will be conducted for the CENTREe Project (CENTREe project) funded by the EU, set to transform Europe's road transport research and innovation ecosystem. In order to turn the RTR ecosystem into a globally competitive, digitally empowered and substainability-driven landscape, CENTREe will address emerging skills gaps, introduce education and (re-)skilling pathways, and establish robust knowledge-sharing systems.

For the organization and implementation of the study, we collect personal data from you (e.g., age, gender, working experience).

Additionally, we collect the following content data as part of the study:

• Subjective questionnaire data (e.g., skills required in current position)

We process your personal data only to the extent necessary for the respective purposes, in particular for the implementation, evaluation, and documentation of the study. In principle, we store and use the content data generated during the study separately from your other personal data, such as your name and contact details. Where possible and compatible with the study's objectives, we utilize anonymization or pseudonymization.

Disclosure to third parties occurs only within the scope of the specified purposes and solely in pseudonymized or aggregated form.

Data Protection Consent Declaration

I have read and understood the foregoing explanations and the Privacy Notice regarding the processing of personal data by the ika in connection with participation in participant studies and hereby voluntarily provide the following consent(s):

Yes, I agree that the ika may:
Process the personal/person-related data and content data collected as part of the study/experiment for the evaluation and documentation of the study and, if necessary, pseudonymize/aggregate such data with other datasets for this purpose;
Archive and use the content data collected during the study for further studies/research projects in the field of personal mobility
I may refuse my consent without stating reasons and without incurring any disadvantages as a result. I may also withdraw this consent or my consent to individual aforementioned purposes at any time (e.g., by email to ida.kuck@ika.rwth-aachen.de or to the contact details provided in the Privacy Notice). In the event of withdrawal, my data will be deleted without undue delay; anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be personally attributed will be exempt from deletion. I understand that, in the event of withdrawal, my data may exceptionally not be deleted and may continue to be used by the ika if the ika can rely on another legal basis, such as an unrepealed consent for other purposes or a statutory permission (e.g., storage to defend against potential civil claims for damages or to fulfill statutory documentation and retention obligations).
