Thank you very much for your interest in our study “From Dallas to Berlin on Demand: The Transnationalization of Meaning”!
In this study, we investigate how audiences in Germany and Israel perceive German TV series set in Berlin. The research project is a collaboration between the Freie Universität Berlin and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
We would be grateful if you could take part in this short survey, which will only take a few minutes to complete.
Your responses will help us to select participants for our focus group discussions, in which we aim to explore intercultural perceptions of popular German series on streaming platforms such as Netflix. In these moderated discussions, participants will exchange their opinions and experiences about the series in small groups.
The protection of your privacy is very important to us. All data is processed securely and confidentially in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). We assure you that your information will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for the purposes of this study.
If you are selected to participate in a group discussion, you will receive a €50.00 voucher as a thank you for your time and contribution.
Thank you for your time and support – we look forward to your participation!
Kind regards,
Prof. Dr. Joachim Trebbe
