Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire.

I am a student of English Studies at Heidelberg University and am currently writing my Bachelor’s thesis in linguistics. My study investigates bilingualism in children.

This questionnaire is intended for parents or legal guardians of children aged 0 to 6 who are being raised either monolingually or bilingually.

"Monolingual" refers to children who are being raised with only one language (e.g. only German or only English). "Bilingual" refers to children who are being raised with two languages: German and English in this case.

Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Participation is voluntary and anonymous. You may stop completing the questionnaire at any time without giving a reason. The data collected will be used exclusively for academic purposes as part of my Bachelor’s thesis.
